I’m told that the mills that are running are at full capacity and thus, it’s sellers market for lumber. On the buy side, they get the timber for cheap so they’re just making a killing right now.

Not to worry though. Builders are starting to buy these mini mills and process their own lumber for their projects. Takes some time to work through (drying the wood) but eventually it’ll be money well spent.

That’s just saving the builder money and putting more in his pocket. Doubt it trickles to the buyer

What moron would trust a builder to saw, plane, dry and grade the lumber their home was to be built with? I would not, ever.
