When was the last time it rained? It’s about time for the first fertilizing depending on where you live, so yes, you should be watering regularly soon as well

I have always followed the 150 "rule", which is when the high and low temperatures added up are equal to or greater than 150 degrees, you are actually accomplishing something by watering your yard.
