Draft his replacement. Re-signing Marcus Williams and Ram are the 2 out of the 3 that need to happen. They cannot and will not be able to sign Williams, Ram, and Lat. Lattimore should net at least a 1st and 3rd while saving 10 mil in cap.

it's just that Lattimore is the best corner we've picked in the first round... well.. that I can remember who actually was a solid player.

Alex Molden was okay but Lattimore can play at high level but maybe just not as consistently as you want.

that's why I figure it'd be nerve racking to try and draft a replacement for him given our history but I'm a big Jeff Ireland believer.

I guess my next question would be what about Jack Rabbit on the other side? Where do we go on that side of the D?

it's not that easy

it took a bunch of incredibly dumb decisions AND KC trading up ahead of us to get Mahomes ( ) for a guy like Lat to fall to us

i would imagine if we were dealing him like this it would have already happened. teams will likely lowball us b/c of our cap situation, too
