I agree that they could have gone for more chairbacks, but students don't want to just be sitting down the right field line. I have a lot of LSU friends, current and former students, who have expressed that sentiment. As a student, you should have access to your own "thing". Not just another fan in a bleacher in the grandstands.
Ole Miss, State, and Arkansas all have unique student experiences. LSU could have easily done something similar during the new build. I do understand that Baton Rouge is a larger city than the rest so you really have to accomodate the average Joe, but surely they could have done some kind of VIP standing room area/Berm or what not for undergrads.

quote:They’re welcome to pay to sit elsewhere. Look, there’s no “bad” seat in the box and you have 8-9k who are season ticket holders for multiple years. Those people rightfully so have better seats than student spots. There’s almost no turnover on season tickets. Those people have priority. It’s the way it should be. RF is where you want to be to frick with the RF anyway. This is a really odd complaint tbh.

quote:A berm would have been nice, I agree. But it’s not the average joe LSU baseball is accommodating by putting the students in RF. It’s season ticket holders who have had season tickets for 5+ years.
