Just wondering if anyone has a favorite bait they’d like to divulge for Grand Bayou in Coushatta.
Club tournament this weekend and I don’t really have a clue. Water’s low and kind of stained.

Best bass I ever saw come from that lake was caught by a self-proclaimed non-fisherman who was sitting on the back of a boat smoking a joint and pounding Milwaukee's Best Light while trolling a rattle trap around the bridge. 10.5 lbs
Then we ate it.

There were bass on multiple brush tops chasing shad Saturday in 8-10 feet of water close to the bank. Water temp was 56° when I launched and 58° when I left. Not sure how the rain may have affected it. The water is still rising which is a good thing. Other than as mentioned above I’d also have a tube jig and a Jackhammer tied on. Those four should catch something.

If it’s black and blue bill dance says it’ll catch a fish
