re: WW2 recommendation for pre-teens

I was about his age when my parents started letting me read non-fiction works like Band of Brothers or The Simple Sounds of Freedom, which are both great.

However, there’s a young adult historical fiction book that I remember loving as a kid, called Soldier X, that I will recommend to anyone.
