Not shocked.

I bet.

And what is that rate? Give us an actual number based on a peer-reviewed study.

Why?

Sure, you could. But when one category accounts for nearly 30% of all children while another accounts for a slim percentage and you focus on the latter, it makes it seem that you really aren’t pro-family at all.

Wait, are you really saying that supporting homosexual adoption is a “pro-family” position, and that if children are sexually abused in homosexual households at a higher rate than in non-homosexual households, it’s statistically irrelevant because of the detrimental effects of being raised in a single-parent household?

Your position seems weird, so I’m just trying to make sure I understand. I get that you want to seem socially acceptable by being pro-homosexual and all, but drill down on this position for me.

Here you go again, throwing out concepts that you cannot back up with facts.

Your reading comprehension is awful.

My stance is very simple. Studies on child rearing are pretty clear. Structured, stable households have much, much better outcomes than unmarried or single parent homes. Right now, we are at crisis levels of unstable, single parent homes or transient homes. So I’m not going to get real worked up about stable, same-sex households raising kids.

And you have no real evidence of increased abuse rates in married, same-sex households so I’m not even going to address that red herring.

Do you have legitimate statistics that support that comment?
