HOLY shite!! Played it today just for some shots and giggles. They need to shut it down tomorrow. I swear I saw a goat taking a shite on at least every green. Half goat ranch greens. The other greens have sand covering 90%

I think that’s the end game. They’re letting it go to hell so they can build something over there. It’s a shame because when it was kept, it was a decent track for students and weekend hackers.

What's worse is that a couple high school matches took place there last week. Did none of the coaches even bother to check the conditions?

Was a very nice course and facility only a few years ago when Mike Johnson was there. Then politics
Took over. Took his salary give it to an accountant off site who knows nothing about golf, then hired a retired plant worker (good guy ) To run the facility. LSU needs to privatize it. Let someone who knows what the hell they are doing run it. They aren’t trying to make money.
Improve the conditions put a cute girl at the turn with a grill and some drinks, put a beverage cart out there , they would kill it!

It is bad but it has a great practice facility, has great views and is a great place for newbies to learn

Judging by the pictures, you could do a lot better to help someone learn. I keep waiting for a thread where they say it's turning around. At least we know where LSU is putting their next paid parking lots.

The practice facility is definitely not great anymore. The chipping green looks exactly like those pics and the range isn't any better.
