It’s been about a week now for me and it’s showing no signs of slowing down with just about every Covid symptom there is. It’s freakin brutal

Should I just go ahead and look forward to another week of this shite or how’d it go for y’all

Some never get real symptoms some deal with the stuff for months and months. Have a friend who is still struggling with the “long haul” experience

One day, with no long term issues like loss of senses. I was pretty fortunate to have caught a pretty innocuous strain.

I’m on day 7 right now. First 3 days had a temp around 100 with congestion and body aches. That’s the worst it got. Those symptoms left on Tuesday but now I can’t taste or smell. I’ve only pounded Vitamin C and D everyday for it but I’m essentially back to normal besides a little fatigue and a lingering dry cough.

I had it back in late January. Felt like a head cold for three or four days with a day and a half of low fever and that’s about it. Still haven’t gotten my sense of taste/smell back 100% though. It just kicks some people’s asses and others not so much.

All five of us in the family got it. My eldest daughter (no pics) had it the worst because of asthma. My son got lucky and showed no signs of it other than food tasting not right for a couple of days. I was in the middle on severity.

I take Zinc, D3, and Magnesium every day. I have not had it, but the wife did. She was sick as a dog for 8-10 days. But she is back to mean as hell now. (JK)

8-10 days.

Not many/severe symptoms though:

Some occasional coughing (some productive)
Headache - pounding; felt like it was located above my right eye - was longest lasting symptom
Legs were painful for the first 1-3 days (couldn't find a comfortable position)
Some dulling of smell and taste (but not complete)
Fatigue - Was sleeping 9+ hours each night (could also fall asleep for a few hours during the day)

I had fever for the first 2 days only. About day 4, I lost smell and taste and started having some extreme fatigue. Getting up to go take a piss was exhausting. About that same time, a pretty rough cough set in. All symptoms disappeared around day 10, with the exception of the cough. It's been lingering for about a month now. It's not every minute of every day, but several times per day I'll get a little spell where I cough like crazy for 5 minutes and it stops again. Real annoying and draw lots of bad looks when in public

3 days of a mild/moderate cold...no significant loss of smell/taste afterwards.
