It drives me insane he still votes for them. The vision Maher wants for the world, he should vote Republican. He chewed out Adam Schiff (his own Rep) to his face saying he has no idea what he’s getting for his tax dollar since his state has turned into an absolute hellhole and that people and companies are completely justified in leaving the state.

I completely understand why he personally hates Trump due to Trump suing him over a joke, but he lets his hatred for him cloud his policy and who he votes for. Maher should be voting Republican at this point given how batshit insane the Democrats have become. I do think if you gave me 12 hours uninterrupted with him without his producers handing him news articles they want him to read that I could have gotten him and people like him to extremely reluctantly vote for Trump. I was simultaneously happy and gritted my teeth voting for him since I’m not a personal fan of Trump, but he’s the only option sane people had left.
