These counties should just form their own separate state, to offset PR or DC being made a state as far as Congressional representation and electoral votes.

As a message to Democratic Gov. Kate Brown, they can game their new state "Whore-We-Gone"

I feel bad for people in eastern Oregon/Washington, central/southern Illinois and everywhere in Minnesota outside of the twin cities. Their votes are completely wasted due to huge metro areas in one part of the state.

not enough people for even one congressional district.
congress would not allow it.

the oft proposed California split has several million in the least populous chunk. its 35 or 40 million.

It would be better than joining Idaho. How many republican senators does Washington and Oregon get? If none then I guess it doesn't matter, but otherwise it matters a lot.
