I don’t see why they wouldn’t. Idaho is getting a Cali influx like everyone else so they’d love to have some conservative infusion to offset that.

Pretty sure the US Congress would also have to approve.

Alabama attempted to annex the panhandle more than once in the 1800’s. It was always a mess and nothing came of it.

I'm sure Idaha, as a red state, would love this.

Idaha is getting bluer and bluer due to areas like Boise getting a bunch of transplants from Cali, Oregon, and Washington. It's no where near turning blue, though, obviously.
