I'm just curious why everyone is keeping Beloso in the 4 hole right now?
For lack of better options mostly for now. I think Dugas could be the man there but he has got to get way more consistent before you move him up in the lineup. We can't have the 4-hole guy striking out 2-3 times in games. That's part of what Beloso has been so good at to start this season (.600 OBP)...but is a little weird he's backed off on his home run power he showed as a freshman. You just assume the guy has still got it because he isn't a small gentleman, but last year rarely put it on display in the shortened season and this season he's been more hit for average guy and talk walks for sure...and that's really working well so far.
I think if Drost could somehow get in every day lineup and rake like he does he could be a potential land there as well.

Beloso is really the only player in the lineup that has proven he can hit SEC pitching well, and do it with pop. Other guys could possibly surpass him, I’m sure Crews will, but you know what you have in Beloso. When they put all those shifts on him last year, he went the other way with it. He’s a decently rounded hitter. Given enough games he has to run his share of balls out of the yard. I’d actually like to see him do a little more first pitch fastball hunting that it looks like he got away from.
