I checked my calendar app on android just to see what a particular date was (eta: it IS my google calendar with my personal gmail stuff on it, not just a random calendar like on Windows), anyway, the first day of March has "First Day of Women's History Month" across the entire field.

WTF? A) I never knew such a thing even existed. B) Why the frick would I ever need that on a calendar? Ever. Why would anyone? C) Why is Google putting shite like that on its users' calendars? It isn't a holiday anywhere for anyone, ever. No one ever planned anything around it. I've now spent more time posting on the OT about it than anyone should ever spend even acknowledging it.

Eta: why doesn't EVERY gender have its own month? I know there aren't enough months for that but at least try, you bigots. (and sorry, changed the width to the universal OT number of treefiddy)
