I developed that fear about 6 years ago while driving over the Mississippi Rover bridge in Natchez. No idea why.

Interesting. Those twin bridges have never bothered me much. The original one that goes into Vidalia is a tad bit narrow for my taste though.

I got stuck in standstill traffic on the new bridge last time I came to an LSU game. I was in one of those cars with the auto start/stop so when the engine turned off, you can really feel the bridge deck bouncing. I know its designed to do that but I was really anxious to get off the bridge.

The old Vicksburg bridge as I recall was one lane each way, with train tracks on one side.

I don’t know what it is about the Natchez bridge that makes me feel uneasy.
