Trust me I’m from Arlington I’m well aware. But these types of things that I’m bothered by aren’t just locked into places typically rife with incompetence. Even Arlington is starting to go soft on crime and is seeing upticks.

There are upticks in crime almost everywhere in the country the last few years so I don't know that it has anything to do with Arlington being soft on crime, whatever that even means.

I got my Master's from Shenandoah University in Winchester 20+ years ago so this may now all be out-of-date. It's a crappy little liberal arts university but it's added D-III football recently so that's something.

Winchester is a nice town and there are nice towns surrounding it- Leesburg to the south get pricey. The high school in Winchester looks better than the college; it was endowed by a local and looks very nice. Not much was happening there for singles 20+ years ago but it looks like a great place to raise a family. I'd move back...
