It didn't go well, a bunch of moms started protesting, were going to boycott St. Valentine's Day. The CEO of Crown Media which was alluded to in the OP got fired before the end of January. He had been in that role for over a decade. Don't know crap about Hallmark just it remember it because I was really impressed how much of impact these Moms had.

A year later, little more than dozen of the executives under him are now gone.
