so if you had $1500 or so to spend and were just looking for a smoker and not worried about the grill aspect, which would yall go with? I have a brand new built in grill for grilling and use cast iron searbq griddle for steaks and items i want a crust on. This would be strictly for smoking.

I would want wifi and temp control to be very reliable.

Pellet pro is out as I have a dual band wifi network at my new house and thier patriot wifi controller will not connect. I would like the ability to smoke jerky and salmon at 150* so not sure rec tec is the way to go.

Anyone had success smoking jerky and cold smoking salmon lox on a rectec?
