Yes you were
No I wasn’t. I was referencing the fact that you lied. I could not care less about declaring victory. Now who is trying to make their argument for the other person? The posts are there. You lied and you were exposed for saying stuff that wasn’t true. You continued to keep trying to tweak it over time, but clearly had no idea what you were talking about. I was saying that is a losing argument. Nobody is trying to declare victory over you. It’s not that hard to do. Not a real accomplishment. But try to hang onto that if you think that helps you look better. Whatever you need.

quote:Except I didn’t. Did you see the article today? PM saw Hellmers play first once. Had to ask him where he played defense in high school because he didn’t know and then let Hellmers start two games after just a week of practice at 3B because he was out with Coronavirus. PM set the kid up for failure and even admitted as much. And then the quote about being one of the top 10 pitchers isn’t even from Mainieri. It’s a line from Wilson (sports writer) simply using lowest ERAs over the fall. My god what a terrible barometer.
I was referencing the fact that you lied.
PM went with Hellmers after not knowing where he played in high school, one day looking good at 1B and then a week of practice at the position. If that’s not going on your gut by putting him in over the 53rd ranked high school player in the country, I don’t know what is. It’s certainly not a true evaluation and if it was, that’s even worse.
