Leave Ty Floyd out there to walk people but bench Helmers because he struggled in the first game? Pitch your closer in the first two games of the season. The fact is if PM left Floyd in and he struggled then people would blame PM. If Fontenot came in and struggled or had a sore arm then PM would be blamed for pitching him twice in a row that early in the season. Because George struggled, that’s PM fault because he put him in. But, PM gets no credit for Coleman coming in or any of the lineup and pinch hit decisions he makes yesterday that were successful. Got it. Your hindsight decision making skills are amazing. I wish we had you on the bench making the tough decisions. That’s great that you defend him when we are successful and think he sucks when we struggle. Wow, what insight you have! The fact remains that there are very few programs that have been as successful as ours.

Yes. Leave Floyd out to walk people instead of the senior who’s known for walking people to walk people. It’s a simple concept. You learn something there. With George you learn nothing. With Hellmers in game 2, we learn nothing. Again, it was obvious after the first game he wasn’t the answer. He needs more time. One day, he could try again but not so soon.
quote:We lost the Poche game and I still defended it. It was the right call. 2016 was also one of his best coaching years. He got a lot out of a little. Defended him after that year too.
That’s great that you defend him when we are successful
