So the DOE responds to Texas at 8pm on Sunday? That's a little late for any preparations to ramp up production. We had already lost power for 7 hrs on Sunday by the time DOE sends this out. This ridiculous and the DOE was sabotaging TX. I agree with many here that Abbott should've just sent the order to ramp up production.

I am not familiar with the timeline. That certainly would make upping production tough to do if what you posted is true.

An example for the NOLA trolls:

Dear New Orleans, we suggest that you open the Bonne Carrie Spillway to alleviate flooding concerns. However, prior to doing this, we demand that every man hole cover in the city be replaced by solar panels. You can even purchase these panels from Soylindra for not less than one million dollars each. Failure to comply with these demands could result in fines from the DoE. Good luck!

PS - the breech in the levee currently flooding the city due to the spillway not being opened yesterday is NOT our fault. It is our understanding that Steve Scalise is currently holed up on some high ground on the Northshore. You can check on his “staycation” during this trade by by tuning into XiNN.

I believe it took the DoE about 8 hours to issue approval. My understanding was request was sent 2/14 at noonish and approved 2/14 at 8pm.
