We had already lost power for 7 hrs on Sunday by the time DOE sends this out.
This ridiculous and the DOE was sabotaging TX. I agree with many here that Abbott should've just sent the order to ramp up production.

It’s not that easy. Those are private companies running those plants. And it’s those private companies who will get hit with millions upon millions in ruinous fines and penalties by the feds if they ignore federal regulations without permission. Abbot could order them to step up production all he wanted, but without federal permission, they weren’t going to do anything.

I alluded to this earlier, albeit through a question as I am not as familiar with the machinations of the DoE.

In short, it seems as though the DoE did just enough to provide cover for their frick job. The MSM gets to paint Abbot et al. in a negative light, frick over the citizens of Texas, and have their actions portrayed positively in the spin cycle. Lastly, trolls will invade social media putting out the bullshite narrative in an attempt to overwhelm any review of the situation as it involves free thought and critical thinking (see the troll bot I called out in the posts above).

The commie tsunami...it is real.
