As much as I DESPISE early kickoffs...

This may be a blessing. If that hurricane starts making its way towards Louisiana, N.O. in particular, the early kickoff may actually help. If the game would be a normal 7:00 kickoff, there would be hell to pay with the evacuee traffic. It already may be hell. Keep your fingers crossed that ol' Gustav keeps churning & blows himself out in the middle of the Gulf.

as well it fricking should be...its not a question about baton rouge but a logistical one with people fleeing NOLA and the surrounding area having an LSU gameday traffic combined with evacuations would be a logistical nightmare that would be blasted by news, politicians, and our neighbors...if it keeps coming this way the game is done
