shite, even if they were gifted and COULD excel in a STEM field, if their demeanor suited the trades better, I'd steer them that direction.

My kid could go to trade school. Get out get a job. Get employed by a solid outfit. Get 5-7 years good experience and I could get him set up in his own business. Cheaper than college and he is making bank with people working under him at 35.
