1. The United States population increases every year. Of course voting numbers are going to naturally increase too.

2. Social media, the Internet, and 24/7 news serves to motivate people because they have more exposure to candidates, etc. I don't think Ronald Reagan used Twitter in 1980, did he?

All those 74,000,000 votes for Trump were cast before 1/6, which changed everything. People aren't going to forget that. If he couldn't win before it, he sure as hell isn't winning after it.

The Democrats have shifted so far left that a lifelong liberal Democrat won the president as a Republican and the was called a conservative Nazi despite out of control spending and plenty of liberal social stances

Republicans are so out of touch and nonrepresentative of their base that a lifelong Democrat is now the conservative voice of their party.
