Looking to go on my first Turkey hunt this year. I use a Browning A5 for ducks. Plan to use it for Turkey as well.
If you use an A5, do you have a choke you like, and what is it?
Going to hang up and listen...

Before I went to a 20ga for everything I used a Patternmaster Code Black Turkey and Hevimetal Mag Blends and had really good results in the A5 I used back then

All the guides here in Florida are running Indian Creek choke tubes.

No knowledge of the Browning but you could try an ammo to choke chart usually provided by the Ammo makers. Nitro Ammo has a recommendation tab on their site classified by gun type.

I’ll be the contrarian and say this isn’t always correct. The tightest choke isn’t always the best. It doesn’t matter if you have a 12” pattern at 50yds if you have a 4” pattern at 20 that causes you to miss close turkeys. There’s a balance between being tight enough to kill far turkeys and loose enough to not miss close ones. I’ve killed shitpiles of turkeys and can say I think the average would probably be about 25yds. I don’t want a choke that’s shooting an iPhone size pattern at 20.

Shoot a tss shell with your factory full. You will be surprised. I shoot a .410 with tss and it’s nasty.
