ought real hard about getting out in the marsh early this morning in case the specs got caught in shallow water with this cold snap. In the past, I have picked up limits of trout that was just kinda swimming around on the surface stunned by the cold. Then I got to thinking that, like someone above said, that the temp did not fall suddenly so the trout would have had enough time to get to deeper water so no trapped trout. When I walked outside this morning I was really glad that I didn't head out, it is freaking cold outside LOL

This usually happens when it goes from
Pretty warm to arctic quickly like 83 and 89. Not this time it was fairly cold for past 2 weeks w heavy N winds pushing water out / sending them to deeper water
