Are you telling me that you wouldn't be outside all day tailgating in the heat anyway if the kickoff was at 7:00. Whats with all the complaining? man up and be a fan...

anyone knows night time in Death Valley is special. As returning national champs, playing a team that is not even in the same level of college football, being forced to play out of our regular slot because of money, is a travesty. So take your and 321 posts, and shove'em up your arse

7pm kick-off
Start tailgating at 5:30am. Cook, drink, and be merry till 4:30pm when we pack up and head to the student section.

4pm Kick-off
Start tailgating at 5:30am. Cook, drink, and be merry till 1:30pm when we pack up and head to the stadium where we have to sit in the head and not the shade of trees or tents like we would if we were tailgating.

3 more hours of drinking and eating with friends is much better. Also standing up in the stands at night is much better that getting burned the whole game, waiting for the sun to go down.
I am hoping for a huge down-pour at exactly 1:30pm.

Our RV will be parked Friday. Wouldnt miss it for the world. (or any other home games for that matter.) Truth be known, you'll be the one watching on the couch. . .

I would be smart enough not to stand or sit in the sun shoulder to shoulder for 3.5 hours if I was tailgating though. If you sit on the east side thats what will happen. When we played Texas A&M at noon that year, maybe 10% of fans remained on the east side after the half. Another 10% left on stretchers. Most people better pray for clouds.

Here's a legit question: If I'm sitting in the Northwest corner of the endzone in the lower bowl, about what time will I no longer have to worry about the sun? 6:30 - late 3rd quarter?

Actually I love them all, whatever time. This one was nice in that I could bring my daughters and not get back too late.

If I sit in the east north east corner and the sun sets at 6:52 pm will I get cancer?
