I never said I disagree with the Pats signing Brady. I said we have no idea if it actually played out better for them or not.

Except that’s not what you said

Umm, that looks like it would have been the right decision

Any other alternate timelines we should debate?

Yikes.

For the Pats right now, and moving forward, it absolutely would have been better to make the trade. Not sure how that’s debatable

1 real super bowl >>>>> infinity imaginary super bowls

You’re literally trying to transpose 4 years worth of draft picks and results

Fact is Jimmy has started 30 games since being traded from the Pats 4 entire seasons ago. The Patriots would not be better off with that being the guy at that position currently. As proven by the fact that his current team is currently burning up the trade lines to replace him with a similarly talented and well coached team

You are assuming everything plays out the same

I wonder if Bill knew what he did now, that he would win another ring with Tom, but then Tom would leave him with nothing, what he would do

Bill is a ballsy long game playing son of a bitch. I would think he would take the sure ring, but who knows

I’m not assuming anything except what actually happened.

You’re the one creating a fantasy scenario and trying to project and compare results

If you want to play the what if game, the real what if game should be if he drafted AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, George Kittle etc etc explosive offensive playmakers when he had multiple opportunities to do so, where would they be.

Brady received no heat for leaving his organization because he felt his help wasnt good enough.

He was right

See ring #7

And Billy who was lucky to be dragged by Tom not even making the playoffs

Trading Chandler jones for example right as he made his first pro bowl and has been all pro basically every year since going to AZ

They got a 2nd and a guard for a beast like Chandler Jones lol

Dude let way too much talent walk

He did it with Richard Sherman and it worked so it's like he just kept doing it with younger and younger guys. Nobody getting big money deals

They went to 3 consecutive Super Bowls after trading Jones

One behind the other
