Anyone Tuned Their 2.7?

Just purchased a 2.7 Ecoboost F150 and I am inquiring information on what people use to tune. Also looking to hear their experience with towing or if there has been any problems with the drivetrain. Do you like it, use it often, regret it? What say you, fellas?

Posed to work wonders but will void warranty and must run premium for any boost.

Why wouldn’t you just get the 3.5 so you don’t have to tune and keep your warranty?

I purchased it second hand and warranty still has 2 years left. I dont intend to do it anytime soon, if I even do. I was just curious to see if anyone has. By the way, I was looking for a 3.5 eco in the super cab 4x4 variant but apparently that’s a freaking unicorn.

I bought the SCT BDX tuner from stage 3 motorsports and loaded with 5 Star custom tunes. I told them what I wanted and what mods I had on the truck (tire size and intake) and they emailed me the tunes. It was a noticeable difference. The only problem was I never got the speedo corrected for the tires, which the tune was supposed to do.
I’ve been happy with the performance of the truck especially when towing. It doesn’t notice when pulling a small aluminum boat or 4 wheeler, and handles my 27’ camper pretty well but it sucks gas with That load.
Only issue I have had was a bad turbo when the truck was fairly new, but it was replaced under warranty so didn’t cost me anything. Not sure if the tune (or me having fun seeing what the truck could do with the performance tune and 93 octane) is what caused the turbo failure, but I reset it to stock before bringing it to the dealership. Have 80k miles on it now and don’t plan to get rid of it anytime soon. It’s a 2017 Supercab 4x4.

Dealer can tell it was tuned if it's an ecu flash. If the tuner is a piggyback type probably not but maybe if they care to really look into it.
