that's what they are doing... they don't want to possibly get sick from YOUR germs, hence the mask...

look, I'm sick and fricking tired of wearing masks all the damn time too, but it seems awfully immature and dickish to refuse to comply with a store's request to wear one, if asked, just to feel like you got a "one up" on them or the government... now, if they have a policy and don't enforce it, that's a whole separate issue, and is stupid, and that's on them... but it they ask, just do the grown up thing, wear it for a few minutes, like an adult, and then go about your way.... they aren't asking for your fricking kidney, they just don't want you to inadvertently get sick, nor do they want to inadvertently get sick...
