The really absurd thing is, regardless of what actually happened on Jan 6 (obviously lots of bullshite and tomfoolery by TDS folks at the very least), why would anyone think the real battleground now is DC?
The wars and insurrections are going to happen on the local level and at or near people's homes and businesses, schools, churches universities, etc etc, when anyone tries to enforce the totalitarian orders.
That's at least where it will begin. The DC shite is theater.
