What do you want to spend per stick, have you ever smoked cigarettes, etc?

Fuente 8-5-8 (Natural or Maduro) is a good beginner, and a good daily consistent stick. Depending on your taste, you may like the Natural better, or the Maduro better.

FYI: For those who’s a 8-5-8 fan, I came across this for a hell of a steal.

That’s about $4.31/stick.

I always recommend newbies get a few samplers and go from there. There’s so much quality out there, it’s hard to know exactly what you will prefer.

Fox Cigar has some great four and five pack samplers that come in humidor bags that are excellent for beginners that may not have a humidor set up.

But if you forced me to give you one cigar to try out as a new smoker, I’d go with the My Father La Opulencia.
