Yep.
There's always an answer with something seemingly doesn't make sense. Lourd being a part of the team may "help with recruiting".
EDT: This has NOTHING to do with the current state of the LSU QB room. If anything, it appears LSU will have an extra scholarship and they are going to use it to thank a potential (if not already) big donor in hopes that said donations may continue...if not increase.

Looking at this offer list...Ole Miss has 13 pro-style QBs on their roster? Something has to be wrong there.
