As long as every knows their roles, there should not be a problem. This guy worked with Aranda and Jones at Wisconsin. i think it's a great hire.

Yes. There should only be 1 coach, period, on the whole staff. Simplifies things.

The biggest and most successful programs have armies of analysts. They do film scouting, gameplanning, etc. and are truly vital to elite levels of success.

Most people here likely remember the story about Kiffin (while at Bama) telling Orgeron about all the prep work the shadow staff at Bama does and saying something along the lines of it being invaluable in beating our asses.

Well, you have your Executive Chef, your Sous Chef, line cooks, dish washers, etc. You need everything for a kitchen to function at optimum performance.
