Saints most likely to cut ties with David

Cornerback
Probable: Mike McKenzie, Randall Gay, Tracy Porter, Usama Young.
Questionable: Jason David, Jason Craft, Aaron Glenn.
Doubtful: Greg Fassitt.
Prediction: This is by far the hardest position to project, especially since Young is out with a hamstring injury. If Young was healthy, I'd be confident going with just five cornerbacks, but six is a strong possibility.
Either way, my guess is that the Saints will cut their losses with David. They gave him every opportunity to bounce back from last year's struggles, but when it comes down to it, I think they'll have more trust in one or both of their veterans, Craft and Glenn.
I'll predict just five cornerbacks make the cut, and I'll lean toward Craft since he's got the longer track record with this coaching staff.

If they cut Arrington, it will be the dumbest move they make in decisions. Especially if they keep two kickers like this guy predicts...

I'll believe it when i see it.
I will commend them if they do, but i still dont see him getting cut.
and i think they'll keep 6 CBs, at least starting out

I'm a pretty big Jason David fan and I just don't see this happening fellas.

while i would be sad to see him go, why do you feel like they will keep him?

Most upsetting thing about that article is Andy Alleman probably getting cut.
3rd round pick from a year ago, and we got zip out of it.

There is also this from a fantasy website (Fanball):
David could be released
The News
Saints cornerback Jason David could wind up getting cut from the roster at the end of camp, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune .
Our View
David was awful last season, getting burnt time and time again. The team has been impressed by Usama Young, but David has continued to struggle.

This girl I know is in an on-again off-again relationship with Alleman. I encouraged her to give it another shot (thinking that he was still considered to have a bright future and was coming due on a new contract with starter-level money in a year or so).
Luckily she didn't take my advice.

I like to root for the underdogs. I think it would be awesome if JD could come back and have a decent season and then make a huge interception in a playoff game.
Saints cornerback Jason David (above, center) celebrates his diving, one-handed interception of Dallas quarterback Tony Romo in the closing minutes of Sunday's NFC Championship game in the Superdome. The Saints advanced to the first Super Bowl in franchise history by virtue of a 34-31 victory over the Cowboys. Teammates Josh Bullocks and Will Smith congratulate David.

Jason David scoops up the loose ball after stripping Colts WR Reggie Wayne in Super Bowl XLII. David returned the fumble 43 yards for the game-winning touchdown, as New Orleans won its first ever Super Bowl, surprising the heavily favored Colts 27-24.

can you find any other great jason david plays? And i'm using that term loosely because the fumble return was something anyone could have done had they been in his position
