The mizunara is good. It's well balanced. Berries stand out in terms of fruit and there's consistent peppery spice throughout. It's not overly sweet which I appreciate. It's not as oaky as the vantage. I didn't pick up the coconut that others have mentioned in reviews, but that could be a function of being the neck pour. I'm anxious to see how it opens up.

Here's another new one. On a related note, bulleit rye used to be my go to for old fashioneds. As the category has expanded, it's kind of fallen out of favor with me (and it's pretty unremarkable neat), but I still have a little bit of a soft spot for it. A 12 yr mgp rye for 55 bucks was too difficult to pass up.

How’s that Bulleit 12 rye? I tried it at bourbon get together recently but it was the last pour of the night and I’m sure you know how that goes
I almost pulled the trigger the other day at a local store.
