They are fantastic. I spent more time playing and re playing every mission in the first game of this series(World of Assassination) than any other game this past gen. I'm slowly getting into the second one. If you enjoyed the older games you will definitely enjoy the new ones.

Hell Yes! Blood Money and Contracts are still the best of the best.

The Hitman HD Enhanced Collection (includes PS4/XB1 versions of Blood Money and Absolution) is currently 18 bucks on the PSN Store.

Going to be purchasing that

I meant the first game of the new trilogy (World of Assassination) Hitman 2, Blood Money, Contracts were great(Absolution sucked imo)but the new ones improve on everything. As popular as Hitman is I still dont think its gets accolades as it deserves.

Ok. Well they are pretty unique games in that they arent just straight up stealth action games like Splinter Cell/Metal Gear. There is tons of experimentation with how you infiltrate and finish your contracts. I will spend hours on a single level just exploring all the different possibilities then usually go for stealth run. Then go back and replay the other execution methods as they are often pretty humorous and the more you go back and complete the missions in different ways the more unlocks you earn. It is a lot of trial and error but once you plan your own path through the mission and execute it flawlessly and exit without anyone being the wiser ...it feels great.

Yes for the sole reason it’s one of the most replayable series out there. There are so many ways to accomplish the same thing in those games it’s almost impossible to just play through once.

Absolution didn’t suck, it was just...too different. The open maps where 47 was actively stalking targets was great. The filler between was meh.
