big bend is huge
5-6 hrs is gonna get you a drive thru at best I’d imagine but that’s fine depending on where you enter. Assuming you enter from marathon you’ll go thru panther junction then hit the Chisos basin area then you can hit Santa Elena and then exit the park and see Terlingua and the ghost town.
we were there in October and it’s spectacular
Marfa is OK it’s worth a stop if you are driving thru anyway but everything was closed when we were there. Alpine is much prettier and there’s more to do

I have been to Big Bend but not as extensively as the members above. I will just say that it’s a beautiful place to visit.
