It's the government employee way.
This right here. The Chicago Teachers Union is one of the strongest teacher's unions in the country. They are as liberal as one can get, yet they give zero fricks about the fact that the pandemic and remote teaching is disproportionately affecting children of color. It's not about the kids, it's never been about the kids.
I just checked the CDC stats today...58 out of 347,131 deaths have been in children aged 5-14.
