Right, and relatively speaking, Soros isn't that rich. If I am a speck of krill and people like Musk, Gates, and Bezos are blue whales, Trump is something like a dolphin and Soros is something like a mid sized orca.
Soros isn't all powerful because he is immeasurably rich. He's all powerful because he has somehow managed to turn the riches he does have into influence unlike anyone else.
