My cousin told me the reason we lost Leigh was because our coaches recruiting him made him feel like he was talking to his parents and Clemson came in talking to him like they were best friends. He said our coaches didn't relate as well as Clemson's did and the relationship just wasn't the same. Tyler Clements stole him in one weekend of just hanging out around Clemson. I'm sure all parents like to heard the coaches tell them their son will be ok, but the kids want to go where they know they will enjoy the next so many years and try to pave their way to the NFL in the process. We gotta do better.

I’m not calling your cousin out or anything but I really believe Tristan to Clemson had more to do with proximity to his hometown than anything.

I’m sorry but that kid ended up being a diva about things toward the end. He was undoubtedly soaking up all the media attention and trolling every Fanbase involved in his recruitment. The dude never led on that Clemson was that high on his list, so I believe he just chose it more so because of proximity.

Only other thing is maybe he thought early playing time was in the cards because he watched how bad their O-line was against Ohio State in the Sugarbowl
