I've got a WaterRower on order. I used it at OTF and liked it. The Concept2 is your rower if you want more 'programming content'. I've never used it but it gets terrific reviews and is cheaper. The main reason I didn't go Concept2 is the noise factor. I prefer the auditory aesthetics of a water paddle versus a blower which by some accounts is very loud.

bought a concept 2 last year. use the heck out of it...4-5 days a week. thrilled with it. can't imagine using another one. one thing i like about the C2 vs the water rower is you can set the resistance level 1-10. whereas the water rower you just have to determine that based on how hard you pull, which could be different every stroke. the 5 on the c2 is like rowing in water. i set mine on 8 or 9 and row for about 45 minutes or 10,000m, whichever comes first.
