I would sign it, take a picture of it, put it in a safety deposit box, and hire a reputable tax attorney to help me through the process.

Would make a call to an attorney, an accountant, and a call to a high net worth money manager. Set things in motion, and then quietly quit my job in a month or two. Live off my savings and wait until the check clears
