HOw hard is it to understand that the program's resources, even from wealthy donors, is not unlimited and must be spent wisely or they dry up?

We're not talking about $50m payouts here guys, Pelini got like $4m and everyone was pumped about him getting hired. No one knew the game had passed him by and his personal motivation to succeed had disappeared.
