I don't agree that Trump's Presidency ended "almost exclusively due to his own mistakes".

I can't even partially agree.

Did he make mistakes? Of course, but not bad enough to be unable to beat pee pads and knee pads. In order for that to happen all of the establishment locked arms, from the media, to hollywood, to sports leagues, to the music industry, and for 4 years pounded Trump with claims of bigotry simply because he was anti-establishment. The establishment pulled out all the stops, they weren't making the money they had been and were pissed.

That's almost exclusively why Trump lost the election.

From everyone I've talked with, most people think Kamala Harris is just a female Obama or at worst a black Hillary. Trump not going to town on her was a tremendous mistake. Honestly he should have attacked her 3 times the amount he attacked Biden. People just think they're going back to the Obama administration, and this is not going to be that, especially with our newly emboldened tech overlords that have decided to stop slowly boiling the frog and start going full Freddy Kruger on our asses. Biden is already openly talking about putting more troops into Iraq, and he's only been in office 30 hours.

Example: Fox News magically pivoting to hating Biden.

The establishment right/GOPe rathers be on the defensive and complain than take the lead and lead.

Very well said. And the country will forever be damaged because of it

Rank these 4 things on their impact to the end of the Trump Presidency:

- covid
- his tweets
- mail in ballot harvesting
- media coverage

To me these are the big four with the media being far and away the biggest dent.

Despite the media if President Trump had regular voting or no covid happening (either) he would have won.

Tweets had an impact but they had to be last of this list.
