is not with the Saints.
The touchdown drop last night was just another reminder that Devery makes the ordinary look extraordinary. You can't be a receiver in the NFL if you can't make that catch.
Who do you cut to make room for Devery "Butterfingers" Henderson?

Colston...No
Patten....No
Meachem...No
Moore.....No
Arrington.No

The only way Butterfingers makes this team is if Arrington is put on IR, or PUP.

it really wasnt a "drop". he caught the ball and secured it, but the defender made a excellent play to knock it out.

I would cut Moore for Devery Henderson.

Also, the TD drop last night was not an "ordinary" catch. Getting sandwhiched btw 2 defenders and taking hits like that...that would have been a pretty great catch if he had made it.

it was a catch lance moore would make. I don't like lance moore, but he looked good last night

The "touchdown drop" was not totally his fault. he got banged pretty good by two defenders. i watched the replay with coverage by the Bengal broadcasters and they even said it was a great hit. Colston dropped a pass under similar circumstances. Do you want to cut him too?
Devery also had a 20 yard reception called back because of Jamaal Brown holding.

I am not a big Devery fan, but fair is fair.

All of you Devery bashers will be eating crow. Not only will he have a good season, it with be with the Saints.

I am not a big Devery fan, never have been, but he appears to be doing a lot better this year. And you can't teach speed. he brings a lot to the Offense, just by being on the field.

A lot of receivers would have dropped that pass, being hit the way he was . colston dropped one very similar , when only hit by one instead of two.

then we must be looking at two different games, just the opposite happened with Colston, he caught the ball, but took a vicious body shot that caused him to let go of the ball, and if he continues to take those type of shots he want have a long career, he was spitting up blood last year from taking that type of punishment.

my only knock against Colston is for his size, 6'4" 230, he should be administering punishment to DB's, not the other way around.

as for Devery he caught the ball, was sandwiched between two guys took hard shots, but replay shows DB behind him punching ball loose, any WR would have dropped that one. and I hate to upset some of you guys, but he's not going anywhere, a reporter asked Payton the other day about him, and Payton is high on him, saying he is competing for starting PT and trading is not a option.

my bad, i forgot colston had a history of drops and was fighting for playing time.

And no, coltson took a shot in the ribs which was way worse than the hit henderson took.

Both should have caught the ball, but henderson killed us last year. IMO, the bad outweighs the good, but he looked ok last night
