Have a 400k BTU natural gas heater on my 15k gallon pool/spa. Heats up about 1.5 degree per hour. I think electric would take much longer in talking to friends that have electric. Not sure of exact cost of heater as was part of spa package.
I think I paid $25 per foot for the gas line and they added a few quick connects for crawfish boils.
Hope this helps. You won’t regret adding heater, we swam into December and will crack up this weekend to take advantage of warmer temps.
