I grew up in a trailer park next to a corn field. We didn't have internet, cable TV, social media or midnight basketball. We somehow managed not to shoot each other out of boredom.

I lived in the delta for a bit, my brothers and I didn't kill each other. We built forts, rode bikes and go carts, fished, played baseball and ran around the cotton fields. And by fishing I meant tying a warm to a string on a stick.
