Tells me how important a healthy receiver is, but how more important a group of weapons is.

Why would Houston trade a malcontent QB for a much, much louder malcontent WR? Still love MT13, but let’s be honest—if he’s got a rookie coach calling plays for him instead of Sean Payton, a (likely) much less accurate QB throwing him passes instead of Drew Brees, while losing instead of going 12-4/13-3 every year, his inner diva isn’t gonna take long to surface and cause way more problems for them than Watson ever has and a much less valuable position. He makes zero sense for a team in a rebuild.
That said, even coming off an injury-plagued season, I think his value may be higher now than it ever will be, so I’d definitely be open to moving him. But I think it has to be (officially) done after June 1st to make cap sense for us. And the number of potential partners that it may make sense for is not very big.
